Privacy Policy

WILLOA PTE. LTD. ("we", "us") sets out this Privacy Policy to explain how we handle personal information in the following services we provide:

• SG在住Navi (a weekend outing & daily-life information app for Japanese residents of Singapore)
• SGBusNavi (a real-time Singapore bus arrival information app)

Both services are referred to collectively below as "the Services". Where an item applies to only one Service, that is stated explicitly.

1. Information we collect

SG在住Navi

• Push notification token: used to deliver event-update notifications. Stored on our server, but contains no personally identifying information.
• Feedback content: text submitted via the feedback form, used solely as a contact channel to the operator.
• App settings: language, dark mode, genre preferences, etc. Stored only in your device's local storage and never sent externally.
• Google/Apple account identifier: if you sign in with Google or Apple, only the unique identifier ("sub") from the authentication token is stored on our server. We do not store or use your email address, name, or profile photo.
• Schedule/course backup data: if you use the "data backup" feature, your schedule, saved courses, and genre settings are encrypted on your device using a passphrase before being stored on our server. Encryption and decryption happen entirely on-device, and the passphrase itself is never sent to or stored on our server, so neither we nor any third party can decrypt or view your backup data (zero-knowledge encryption).
• Shared calendar data: the "shared calendar" feature encrypts data using a passphrase shared among participants.
• Location (GPS): when you check in to a spot via the "Explore" feature, your latitude/longitude is sent to our server to verify proximity to the spot. Once a check-in succeeds, that location is stored as part of your check-in history.
• Photos: photos taken or selected as mementos in the "Explore" feature are stored only on your device and are never sent to our server.

SGBusNavi

• Location (GPS): used to automatically detect the bus stop nearest you. Your latitude/longitude is sent directly as part of the bus-stop lookup request and is not stored as a history on our server.
• Saved bus stops / destinations: information you save when registering frequently-used bus stops (stop code, name, icon, colour, title) is stored only in your device's local storage and is never sent to our server.
• App settings: nickname, dark mode setting, etc. Stored only in local storage.
• Feedback content: text submitted via the Settings screen, used solely as a contact channel to the operator. Not retained as a server-side log.

SGBusNavi has no account registration or login feature, and we never store information on our server that could personally identify a user.

2. How we use information

• To provide and improve the Services
• (SG在住Navi only) To deliver push notifications about event updates
• To respond to enquiries

3. Disclosure to third parties

We do not disclose collected information to third parties, except where required by law.

4. External services we use

SG在住Navi

• Google Fonts: used to load fonts.
• Google Analytics (GA4): used for usage statistics on the web version only. Disabled in the iOS app.
• Stripe: used to process optional voluntary support payments (donations) to the app.

SGBusNavi

• LTA DataMall: the official bus operations API provided by Singapore's Land Transport Authority (LTA). Used to fetch bus arrival predictions, bus stop, and route information.
• Google Fonts: used to load fonts.
• OpenStreetMap / Leaflet: used to display route maps.

5. Cookies and local storage

The Services use your browser's local storage to save settings. We do not use cookies for tracking.

6. Data retention and deletion

(SG在住Navi) Push notification tokens are deleted when the service is discontinued or when you unsubscribe. Users signed in with Google or Apple can delete their account at any time from the "Account" section of the in-app Settings screen. Doing so permanently deletes the account information and schedule backup data stored on our server; this cannot be undone.

(SGBusNavi) All saved bus stops, destinations, and settings are stored entirely in local storage on your device, so you can erase them at any time by clearing your browser's or app's data.
